iPhone Email Connectivity issues

Email syncs on wireless network but not on cellular or 3G
On a clients iPhone 4s – when not connected to the internal wireless network, they were not able to receive emails from their Exchange account. (SBS 2011) – it continuously came up with the error “Unable to verify account settings” or just sat at the “Connecting” status.
I did all the normal troubleshooting steps, checking activesync, setting up a new exchange account, closing down all apps etc and discovered that it was this specific device (Other iPads, iPhones were abbe to syn emails), and I came across this little gem:-
Go into settings, General, Reset (Right down the bottom), and tap “Reset Network Settings” – it will come up with a warning that it will delete all network settings including passwords (such as itunes, wireless network etc). It will take a minute to complete but was successful!
Just remember – be prepared to re-enter all of your passwords again if you have a lot of wireless hotspots saved in your phone.
